Homeward Bound...

My Dear Friends, I am on my way to my homeland, Palakkad, for two months. God, I am so very excited!!! I do hope I can keep in touch with you all if I am lucky with the Internet connection, else will 'meet' you in Sep. Will miss you guys...but I hope for the best!

IF - Unfold

A new life unfolds... for a bride

This is a mixed media where I have used glass colours, svaroski crystals for the jewels and the saree embellishments and the palanquin umbrella. I've also decorated the umbrella with fabric I cut out from lace.

Today my darling daughter unfolded her talent by bringing home first prize in recitation and a second prize in elocution. This was the first time she was doing an individual competition. Earlier they had only group events in KG.

I made this in a sheet and coloured it with glass paint, cut it out and pasted it on a card. Very simple one, yet I love it!

My daughter's exams are over and we are leaving to India on 20th. I do hope to be in touch. The past two weeks I really missed you, my blogger friends! I am trying for the Net connection as soon as I reach there. I am not sure though of getting it. In that case I'll be back only in September. But I f I am lucky I'll be in touch:)
