Illustration Friday - Hatch

"The key to everything is patience. You get the
chicken by hatching the egg, not by smashing it."
Arnold H. Glasow

Which one of these do you think is better???
I have used sepia pitt pens.

  1. I like them both of course, but the second one has more depth. I like the way you draw. Have a great weekend.

  4. Hi Deepa!
I like the second one better. The top one looks like a coloring book page waiting to be filled in. I do appreciate the line work though ;)

  11. Hello, Deepa! Oh, this is a wonderful hen. She is anxious for her baby to poke its way out. I love both of them, but with a slight preference perhaps for the first one.

That is a marvelous cactus watercolor, as well! Wow, the colors are gorgeous! And Dubai Festival City...is that where the dancing water shows are? I've seen videos of the water displays, and they are incredible.

Good luck to your brother. A hearty congratulations to him and his bride. And to you and your whole family, I wish you a very happy holiday season and a wonderful new year! Safe travels to you!
