Day 12 Napowrimo
The afternoon whispered secrets
Through the dappled light
That danced across the cement floor
Cracked and in need of repair.

The painting is uplifting!
ReplyDeleteLoved it Deepa, both words and colours
ReplyDeleteLoved your painting... And yes, I so relate to that indolent home... I kind of want to settle and sleep in it for some time even if the world wakes up :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Deepakji.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Soji. Glad to hear that.
ReplyDeleteI know Ira! I so long for it sometimes. It's an image I have in my mind...the cat, the birds', the squirrels, even a dog or two, the dappled light...uff! I love it all. Maybe you can join us, sometime someday. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful painting Deepa. The yellow in itself is joie de vivre. This poem so resonates my pandemic mood/desire.
