Something Arty

Passion

Foliage

Unnamed

These are the glass artworks I worked on a month and half before along with the profile picture, Spring. This was taken before Cathy's tip about setting the flash off:)

Foliage is inspired from the greenery around my place back home. Passion is abstract, done on the spur of the moment when I wanted to do 'Something arty'...the thrid too, which I've not named yet. That was done at 12 in the night!!! Inspiration drops at all odd times:)

  4. Wow! Fantastic!

    Great artwork Deepa.

How do you get time to create all these? Are you able to finish one in a single day?

You are very inspiring to all of us!

  5. My God, Thts a very great compliment Ani...Me inspiring all of you...You all are so Great yourselves!!! Its so so much of an honor to hear that from you:)

It depends on the pic/thought, Ani. Some thoughts take more time. All these were done all of a sudden...each one of them was done in say 1 to 2 hours..separate days. Some of my paintings take one month too...recently I did a painting called 'Bride', that took nearly 4 weeks. The Very Indian Trilogy took that much time as well.

  6. In just a couple of hrs???

You are FAST! A friend of mine she makes gel candles and stuffed toys and art items with plaster of paris.

It takes ages and tons of persuasion to make her complete one!

But she is quite good at what she does too.

  8. Even I've tried with plaster of paris...ceramic painting. Its a hard task...takes time and its messy too...but as I said the final product would be worth the hardship. Who's this friend? Does she've a blog??

  9. No she does not have a blog. And she's the one who was much more a friend.

  10. Your art is wonderful. The fact that it is on glass just makes it all that more facinating. the light in the top one adds to it's excitement I think.

thanks so very much for your kind words on my blog...you are too kind. I am humbled by your kindness.
