Celebration of Life


Celebration of Life-Warli Painting
Acrylic on canvas, 8*8inches

I started this sometime back. Finally, I am happy that I completed it...
Love to do some more folk art.

Oh WOW! Deepa! This is gorgeous! I love the pattern of the leaves. I love the white silhouette against the deep, rich red. And I love all the little figures, particularly the monkeys. Fantastic piece!!!

Excellent work ... We love Warli work. Their work is similar to those done between 500 and 10,000 BCE in the Rock Shelters of Bhimbetka, in Madhya Pradesh.
