Red tulips was one of my friend/client's requirement. This is a commission work I finished last November. Red Tulips is strongly associated with true love. This is done using glass paints and fixed on a bamboo frame. I love the frame a lot, it has a rustic feel about it. What do you think?
"If I was a Tulip
And you were wind’s-wings,
I would not count
My broken dreams,
But bless the coming spring."
And you were wind’s-wings,
I would not count
My broken dreams,
But bless the coming spring."

The already beautiful painting is certainly more enhanced in a bamboo frame, good work, and good idea.
Another lovely creation Deepa :)
I wish I can have it in my living room...:)
Beautiful. Always loved your glass paintings...
Such lovely tulips. They look so real. And the bamboo frame does give a rustic feel. The tulips look so serene. Simply brilliant. :)
Oh Deepa! The bamboo frame is beautiful, but it is barely noticeable with your gorgeous, incredible tulips resting within it. The colors are ablaze! And the petals look so real and satiny. I want to reach out and feel their cool softness. Absolutely stunning!
Gorgeous Deepa, the red tulips are perfect with the bamboo frame - great job:)

Red tulips are the kind of flowers i love after red roses. Your glass painting looks very real and beautiful. And it also goes with the splendid words you have written about the broken dreams and the coming spring which is a sign to hope for the blooming tulips.

My dearest Deepa!
Actually tulip is one of my favourite flowers. Though I never see a real tulip before but by observing the creation, I come to appreciate the amount of time you have spent for working this awesome glass painting.
The red tulip with great composition together framed up with bamboo frame indeed is unique! I haven't seen any glass tulip presentation before that flair my heart.

Nice glass painting. This came out well. I have seen complicated glass paintings on the windows through a tamil drama. Always wondered how they managed to do it in such a large scale.
