Whorled Explorations 2

Kochi Muziris Biennale is around the corner of it's closing date and yet there's lot more to explore...lot to unearth and treasures lay hidden perhaps in each and every corner of Kochi, particularly Fort Kochi and Mattancherry. I would have loved to hang around more but time is always a constraint!

Art, video art, installations and every facet presented were interesting to my eyes...the most memorable one was of course Ryota Kuwakubo's Lost #12...the play with light and shadow; picture not here. My little companion, Nandu and I enjoyed it the most. We were in a kind of Alice in Wonderland where shadows shrink and grew with approaching and receding light. We went saying oooh and aahhh! The materials used for the shadow play was everything from glass to cloth pins to candles etc.

One of my dear college mate and her 3 lovely, charming  and vivacious girls were my companions but it was her eldest who accompanied me visiting the artists' and their art...
